many fear not being confident when making dua, stuttering, or blanking out and not knowing what to say. firstly, know that Allah is the All-Knowing and All-Hearing. He already knows what is in your heart, and what matters most is your sincerity in your duā.…
something to remember today when making dua 🤎

ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAwn – Allāh have mercy on him – said « There are three things that I like for myself and for my brothers: that the Muslim man looks to the Qurān; he learns it, recites it, ponders it and refers to it. second, that he looks to the narrations and the Sunnah; he asks about it and follows it with all his efforts. third, that he leaves alone all these people except when doing good. »

the more a servant has good thoughts of Allah, a good hopefulness in Him, and a sincere trust in Him, then Allah will never disappoint him, for Allah Almighty never disappoints someone who has hope, nor wastes the deeds of someone who does good actions... for there is nothing clearer to the chest, nor more expansive to him after iman than his trust in Allah, his hope in Him, and his good thoughts of Him.

The Prophet ʿalayhi al-salam said, "I would have loved to have met our brothers." Those with him asked, "Messenger of Allah, are we not your brothers?" No," he answered, "You are my companions but our brothers are those who have not yet been born."
They said, "Messenger of Allah, how will you be able to recognize those of your ummah who will be born after your death?" He said, "When someone has horses with blazes on their foreheads, and white lower legs, won’t he be able to recognize them amidst dark black horses?" "Of course," they said.
The Prophet ʿalayhi al-salam went on, "(Our brothers) will come on the Day of Resurrection with white faces and white lower legs (as a result of their faithful performance) of the wuḍūʾ."

‘Among the means of eliminating, worry, grief and anxiety is being gracious towards creation, by words and all types of good acts. All of these are good and excellent in the sight of Allah, and by them Allah removes worries and anxieties from both the good and the evil — each in accordance with his level of being good to creation.

" In His Book, Allah has narrated numerous stories that deal with relief coming after distress and hardship. He told us of His rescuing Nuh and those with him on the ark from the “terrible plight”wherein the earth’s population were all drowned. He informed us of His saving Ibrahim عليه السلام from the fire kindled by the polytheists and how He made it “coolness and peace for him".
He also narrated to us how He ordered Ibrahim to slaughter his son and, at the last moment, how He ransomed him with a 'mighty sacrifice'. He told us of the story of Musa and how his mother placed him in the river and his subsequently being found by Pharaoh’s family. He informed us of the story of Musa and Pharaoh: how He saved Musa and drowned his enemy. He narrated the story of Ayyub, Yunus, Ya'qub, Yusuf and the story of Yunus’s people when they believed.
He told us the story of 'A’ishah when she was falsely accused and how He absolved her of that accusation. He also told us about numerous incidents in the life of Muhammad ﷺ where He came to his aid and saved him such as when he was in the cave, at the Battle of Badr, the Battle of Uhud and the Battle of Hunayn....'

our lives will go through tumultuous times, times where it may feel that there is no light at the end of the tunnel. pitstops and lonely journeys that can alienate you from even your loved ones. but for the believer that has the qurān as their companion, life with the qurān is the remedy to their hurt.
when their iman dips and when it is high, they are in constant recitation and reflection of the qurān. not a day or evening passes where they have not opened their mushaf and let their eyes trace over the speech of Allah. your heart can feel so heavy with life’s responsibilities and tests, but once you read and listen to the qurān, you feel as light as a feather. there is no pain nor heartache nor sorrow that remembrance of Allah and reflection over His speech cannot cure.

Our Sheikh Muhammad Al-Shanqeeti - may Allah grant him success - said: There is no love that is truer than the love of Allah *And there is no one who loves truly as the love of a servant to his Lord *, and no matter how much you love something, you are exaggerating in it except for in your love for Allah, for no matter how much you love and honor Him, and no matter how much you praise Him and glorify Him, you will fall short in fulfilling His right upon you.
Some of the scholars said: “*The love of a servant for His Lord is indicated by the servant’s obedience of His Rabb.”, and that is why the love of Allah did not settle in the heart of a servant except that I found him the most active in fulfilling Allah’s obligations, and the farthest from transgressing the limits of Allah and the prohibitions of Allah - , so whoever loves Allah, waits in every moment for one of His commands until he fulfills that command, and waits in every moment for a prohibition from the prohibitions until he draws closer to Allah - the Mighty and Sublime - in leaving that prohibition.
The Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah - may Allah have mercy on him - said: “The servant is in a complete state when he knows Allah and then loves Him, then in the Hereafter he sees Him and takes pleasure in looking at Him.”
And you are in a time that Allah loves, so increase in doing that which Allah loves, And if you are negligent and falling short in His right, then hasten to His obedience and His love.
