don’t forget to make dua in this blessed day and in the blessed hour of إستجابة
make dua for an accepted Ramadan as the salaf used to do so for six months after Ramadan concluded. make dua for rizq, a sound heart, forgiveness, and steadfastness. make dua for your parents, those with us and those not. for your family and your relatives. make dua for those who have passed on before us, those who are in persecution and being oppressed, the needy and the poor…. and the list goes on. the moral here is: don’t be stingy with your dua, because the angels says ‘and for you’ when you take time out to include others in you adiyaa’ ❤️🩹

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah has angels who journey through the earth to convey to me the greetings of peace from my nation.”

دنت العشر واقتربت!
جلس -عليه الصَّلاة والسَّلام- يومًا مع النَّاس كعادته يعلِّمهم، ويرشدهم، ويبيِّن لهم.
فقال لهم ناصحًا ومُرشدًا: 《ما من أيَّامٍ العملُ الصَّالحُ فيهنَّ أحبُّ إلى اللهِ من هذه الأيَّامِ العشرِ》
قالوا : يا رسولَ اللهِ ولا الجهادُ في سبيلِ الله؟
فقال:《 ولا الجهادُ في سبيلِ اللهِ إلَّا رجل خرج بنفسِه ومالِه فلم يرجِعْ من ذلك بشيءٍ》
وكان ذلك في أيام عشر ذي الحجّة؛ ليبين لهم فضل ما أقبلوا عليه، ليغتنموا، وليجتهدوا، وليجدّوا.
وقد رأيتَ نفسك كيف كنت تحثّها على تعلُّم الطَّاعة والمداومة عليها من قبل رمضان بفترة، حتى يأتي عليك شهر رمضان وقد تعوّدت نفسك فتسهل عليها الطَّاعة وتقل المشقَّة.
فكيف أنتَ بهذه العشر التي ستقبل بعد بضعة أيَّام؟، وقد أخبر النبيّ ﷺ أنه لا يوجد أي عمل في أيام السنة أفضل منه من هذه العشر؟
فكيف وقد فسَّر العلماء هذا الحديث فقالوا: أن نهار عشر ذي الحجّة أفضل من نهار رمضان!
قال العلامة ابن باز - رحمه الله:
العشر الأواخر أفضل من جهة الليل؛ لأن فيها ليلة القدر، والعشر الأول من ذي الحجة أفضل من جهة النهار؛ لأن فيها يوم عرفة، وفيها يوم النحر وهما أفضل أيام الدنيا، هذا هو المعتمد عند المحققين من أهل العلم.
فاجتهدوا واستعدوا، فالأيام ستمضي سريعًا، وسيبقى العمل والسعي فيها، فاسألوا الله أن يبلغكم هذه العشر وأنتم في صحة وعافية، وأن يعينكم فيها على ذكره وشكره وحسن عبادته.

every moment is golden, and is a chance to increase our reward in these ten days. take extra measures to stay away from haram, read the qurān frequently, make plenty of dua and constantly keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah, wherever you are.
Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, ﷺ said, “No good deeds are better than what is done in these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.” Some companions of the Prophet said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah?” The Prophet said, “Not even jihad in the way of Allah, except for a man who goes out with his life and wealth at risk and he returns with nothing.”

O Son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and you then asked forgiveness from Me, I would forgive you. O Son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the Earth, and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as it [too].’

many fear not being confident when making dua, stuttering, or blanking out and not knowing what to say. firstly, know that Allah is the All-Knowing and All-Hearing. He already knows what is in your heart, and what matters most is your sincerity in your duā.
secondly, learn the etiquettes of dua, call Allah by His Great Names and Attributes.
thirdly, follow the sunnah of the prophet ﷺ. He ﷺ had comprehensive speech and thus his duas were also comprehensive. He had جوامع الكلم. Do not linger on just one specific thing, rather ask for the best. Do not just ask for jannah , ask for Al firdaws. Do not ask for the best only in this life but also in the next, and so on.
finally, know who your Lord is. have conviction / يقين that He will answer your duas.
وفقنا الله جميعاً 🤍
