۞ وَسَارِعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ ١٣٣

and hasten towards forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for those mindful ˹of Allah

in this last hour of this blessed day of Friday, run towards seeking forgiveness. turn to Allah, to your Lord, and know that you are asking the One who hears you, the one whose power and mercy reign over all. when you make dua with conviction and certainty, you know that there is no limit to your prayer and no limit in the abilities of the One you call. The One who watches over you, takes care of you, and forgives, constantly. turn over that new page today. in this blessed hour of this blessed day, in this blessed month.

" when My servants ask you about Me, tell them I am quite near; I hear and answer the call of the caller whenever he calls Me "

أدعُ الله أن يعينك على طاعات رمضان، واعلم أن البركة تُساق لك بما في قلبك من طلب العون، وحتى نشعر بتمام الاستعانة لابد أن نشعر بتمام العجز، كم من المرات بدأنا بالأذكار ولم نكملها، وبالترديد مع الأذان ولا نُتِمّه! واعلم أنك لن تبلغ تلك المراتب من الصلاح بغير استعانتك وفقرك اليه

﴿وَعَدَ اللَّهُ المُؤمِنينَ وَالمُؤمِناتِ جَنّاتٍ تَجري مِن تَحتِهَا الأَنهارُ خالِدينَ فيها وَمَساكِنَ طَيِّبَةً في جَنّاتِ عَدنٍ وَرِضوانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ أَكبَرُ ذلِكَ هُوَ الفَوزُ العَظيمُ﴾ [التوبة: ٧٢]

At the beginning of the month, you may be afflicted with some hardness of heart, lack of pleasure in worship, and a sense of hardship in it.. and this is normal for the likes of us.

If you are afflicted with something like this, then have good thoughts of your Lord, and do not say, “The doors are closed in my face, and I am not successful, and I have no share of acceptance..” wallahi this thinking is only evil so avoid it.

Then set yourself off to worship and do not listen to those harmful thoughts.

Your soul may now invite you to turn away from obedience, and call you to despair, pain, lust, and worldly adornment, so be prepared to fight that; do not turn away from the acts of worship during the month; Rather, be patient with yourself; it is then up to you to decide.

A person may find now a lack of pleasure, but when you persist in following Allah’s command, your conditions will be reversed, and you will find a lot of contentment , joy and pleasure in worshipping Allah.

And most important of all: do not make your worship dependent on your psychological sense of pleasure in obedience; Rather, you worship Allah in the state of ease and hardship, and your reward is with Allah.

من فوائد قوله تعالى: (وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان)

أن الصيام مظنة إجابة الدعاء لأنه تعالى ذكر هذه الآية أثناء الصيام في آخر الكلام على آيات الصيام، قال بعض العلماء: يستفاد منها أيضًا أنه ينبغي الدعاء في آخر يوم الصيام أي عند الإفطار.

قال شيخنا محمّد الشنقيطِي -وفقهُ الله-: ليسَ هناك محبَّة أصدق من محبَّـة الله -عزَّ وجل-، *وليسَ هناك أحدٌ يحبّ على الحقيقةِ كمحبَّة العبد لربِّه*، ومهمَا أحببت شيئًـا فأنتَ مغالٍ فيه إلَّا الله -تعالَى-، فإنك مهمَا أحببتهُ وأجللتَـه، ومهما أعظمتَه وأكبَرته، فأنت المُقصِّر في حقِّه -سُبحانه وتعالى-.

وقال بعض العلماء: "*يُستدل على محبَّـة العبد لله بتوفِيق الله -عزَّ وجل- للعَبد لطاعتـه*"، ولذلِك ما استقرَّت محبَّة الله في قلبِ عبدٍ *إلا وجدتهُ أنشط ما يكُون لفعلِ فَرائض الله، وأبعدَ ما يكُون عن حدودِ الله ومحارمِ الله -عزَّ وجل-*، فمن أحبَ الله انتظرَ في كل لحظةٍ أمرًا من أوامرهِ حتى يُلبي ذلِك الأمر، وانتظرَ في كل لحظةٍ من لحظاته نهيًـا من النَّواهي حتى يتقربَ إلى الله -عزَّ وجل- في ترك ذلك المنهِي".
وقال شيخُ الإسلام ابن تيميَّة -رحمهُ الله-: "والعبدُ كماله في أن يَعرف الله *فيُحبه*، ثمَّ في الآخِـرة يراهُ ويلتذُّ بالنَّظر إليـه".

وأنتَ في زمانٍ يحبهُ الله، *فأكثر من ما يُحبـه الله*؛ وإن كنتَ مقصرًا في حقّه، فهروِل إلى طاعتـه وحُبّـه.

Our Sheikh Muhammad Al-Shanqeeti - may Allah grant him success - said: There is no love that is truer than the love of Allah *And there is no one who loves truly as the love of a servant to his Lord *, and no matter how much you love something, you are exaggerating in it except for in your love for Allah, for no matter how much you love and honor Him, and no matter how much you praise Him and glorify Him, you will fall short in fulfilling His right upon you.

Some of the scholars said: “*The love of a servant for His Lord is indicated by the servant’s obedience of His Rabb.”, and that is why the love of Allah did not settle in the heart of a servant except that I found him the most active in fulfilling Allah’s obligations, and the farthest from transgressing the limits of Allah and the prohibitions of Allah - , so whoever loves Allah, waits in every moment for one of His commands until he fulfills that command, and waits in every moment for a prohibition from the prohibitions until he draws closer to Allah - the Mighty and Sublime - in leaving that prohibition.


The Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taymiyyah - may Allah have mercy on him - said: “The servant is in a complete state when he knows Allah and then loves Him, then in the Hereafter he sees Him and takes pleasure in looking at Him.”

And you are in a time that Allah loves, so increase in doing that which Allah loves, And if you are negligent and falling short in His right, then hasten to His obedience and His love.

a reminder, as we have completed half of ramadan already

‏( من أنفع أوقات دعاء الصائم )

" الدعاء يكون قبل الإفطار عند الغروب؛
لأنه يجتمع في حقه انكسار النفس، والذل لله عز وجل، وأنه صائم، وكل هذه من أسباب الإجابة، أما بعد الفطر فإن النفس قد استراحت وفرحت، وربما يحصل غفلة ".

الشيخ ابن عثيمين، رحمه الله

‏الدعاء إذا كان وقت إجابة كآخر ساعة من يوم الجمعة، ثم صادف خشوعًا واستقبال القبلة على طهارة، ورفع الدّاعي يديه، وبدأ بحمدالله والثناء، وصلّى على رسوله، وقدم بين يديه الاستغفار، وألحَّ على الله في المسألة، وتوسَّل إليه بأسمائه وصفاته، وقدم بين يديه صدقة، فإن هذا الدُّعاء لا يكاد يرد أبدا..

reminder for myself and us all:

ramadan is a time of action and a time of potential. ramadan is a time for ticking off boxes and self-reflection. ramadan is a time of conviction, yaqeen and vulnerability. ramadan is not a time for excuses and self-belittlement and ‘if onlys’ and ‘what ifs’.

don’t cry over spoiled milk. فما مضى قد مضى

if we believe that Allah changes night to day, shows us clear skies after storms, heals our heartbreaks and wounds — why can’t we believe that He can also change us for the better? That we can see the light at the end of the tunnel?

The same Lord that guided omar ibn al khattab رضي الله عنه and the magicians of pharaoh, continues to bless you as a Muslim, and no matter what you have done, The Guider / الهادي, will guide you and forgive you (and Loves to forgive you) just turn to Him.

كل شيء هالكٌ إلّا وجهه،
everything in this world is cursed except Him and His remembrance. Everything we give value to will perish. Yet He will stay.

الحي القيوم 🤍بتدبير خلقه وحفظهم.

let us turn to Allah before we are returned to Him.

it was reported from Aisha رضي الله عنها: When the last ten nights of Ramadan arrived, the Prophet ﷺ would tighten his belt, spend the night in worship, and awaken his family. (Bukhari and Muslim)


— I will be taking a small break until Eid inshaAllah from the channel. May Allah accept our acts of worship from us, make us from those forgiven on the night of decree, and allow us to end this blessed month strong. خير العمل خواتمه ❤️‍🩹

عيد مبارك يا أحبة
تقبل الله منّا ومنكم صالح الأعمال 🤍

﴿رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا﴾

قيل:
المُستمسِكون قلَّة وقد ترَك أغلبُهم الجَمرة وهي لم تُحمىٰ بعدُ، ما ابتُلي المسلم بمثل التدرج في سلب الاستقامة، كل يوم يصبح وهو مُنسلخ من أحد محاب الله تعالى حتى يصل إلى ما يبغضه سبحانه، وهو لا يشعر!"

قال ابن القيم رحمه الله:
من عرف الله بأسمائه وصفاته وأفعاله أحَبَّهُ لا محالة

أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَآئِمًا يَحْذَرُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُوا۟ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِۦ

وتخصيص الليل بقنوتهم؛ لأن العبادة بالليل أعون على تمحض القلب لذكر الله، وأبعد عن مداخلة الرياء، وأدل على إيثار عبادة الله على حظ النفس من الراحة والنوم؛ فإن الليل أدعى إلى طلب الراحة، فإذا آثر المرء العبادة فيه استنار قلبه بحب التقرب إلى الله؛ قال تعالى: (إن ناشئة الليل هي أشد وطئاً وأقوم قيلاً) [المزمل: 6].
ابن عاشور:٢٣ / ٣٤٦.

 Is one who is obedient to Allâh, prostrating himself or standing (in prayer) during the hours of the night, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the Mercy of his Lord (like one who disbelieves)? Say: "Are those who know equal to those who know not?" It is only men of understanding who will remember (i.e. get a lesson from Allâh’s Signs and Verses).
{ az-zumar, verse 9 }

— and the night has been specified here because worshiping at night helps the heart to purify the remembrance of Allah, and in doing that, the heart is protected from the riyaa entering it, and it indicates the preference of worshiping Allah over the soul’s share of rest and sleep. The night is more tempting and inviting to seek rest in, so if a person prefers to worship during it, his heart will be enlightened by the love of drawing closer to Allah. Allah says in the Quran: Verily, the rising by night (for Tahajjud prayer) is very hard and most potent and good for governing oneself, and most suitable for (understanding) the Word (of Allâh).

من مداخل الشيطان على المسلم: أن يمنعه من الرجوع إلى الله بعد تكرر المعصية، فباب الله للتائبين مفتوح ولا يغلق باب التوبة إلا إذا غرغرت الروح أو إذا خرجت الشمس من مغربها، والمسلم في جهادٍ في ذلك.
