the person who is constant in giving thanks to Allah, is the one who is not distracted by worldly gain

One who submits to someone with hatred is not worshiping him. And one who loves someone without submitting to him is likewise not worshiping him; this is like a man who loves his son and friends. Therefore, neither love nor submission alone are sufficient in worshiping Allah. Allah must be loved most by Al-'Abd and He must be the greatest of all in his sight. Nothing deserves complete love and submission except Allah. It is a futile love when anything has been loved for other than the sake of Allah. And whatever has been highly regarded without it being by the Command of Allah, its glorification is rejected.

on safeguarding the prayer:
'the carrier of the Qurān should be known by his night (praying) while the people are asleep, and by his day (fasting) while the people eat, and by his sadness while the people are happy, and by his crying while the people are laughing, and by his silence while the people chatter, and by his humility while the people are arrogant'

May Allah honour us with the status of being ahlul Quran 🤍

translation: What turns against the believer most is his intention in righteous deeds, and the successive and extensive reports were reported from the Companions and the tabiin that they did not strive for anything more severe than their intention, and what helps you in that is the abundance in making duā.

it was reported from umar
O Allah, make my deeds righteous, make them purely for Your sake, and do not let anyone else have a share of them

and the recitation of the kitab: following it and acting upon it, like ibn masud رضي الله عنه (when commenting on the verse ‘Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital' — al baqarah:121’) said:

They make lawful what it allows and they prohibit what it makes unlawful, and they believe in that which is ambiguous in it, and they act according to its rulings.

therefore the one who is sincere to Allah has tasted the sweetness of his servitude to Allah that which prevents him from his servitude to others, and the sweetness of his love for Allah that which prevents him from loving others, for there is nothing sweeter, more tender, more tender and more gentle than the sweetness of iman that includes his servitude to Allah, his love for Allah, and his sincerity to His religion.

Whoever repents after his wrongdoing and reforms himself, Allah will turn to him (with mercy). Surely, Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

Thus Allah is happier with the repentance of His servant if he repents to Him than this man with his camel, and Allah is not in need of our repentance, rather we are in need of Him in all our conditions, but because of His generosity, and His love for benevolence, His fadl, and goodness, Allah’s unparalleled joy rejoices with the repentance of a person when he repents to Him.

dua for anxiety and sorrow (bukhari): O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sadness, from weakness and from laziness, from miserliness and from cowardice, from being overcome by debt and overpowered by men (i.e. others).
