An IED targeted a vehicle carrying the Taliban’s deputy intelligence chief for Faizabad in PD-6, Faizabad, Badakhshan.
The NRF claimed deputy intelligence chief Safiullah Mutawakkil and two guards were killed. Local sources, however, reported that one guard was killed while Mutawakkil was critically wounded.

افغانستان میں ایک رپورٹ کی شوٹنگ کے دوران بنائی گئی ویڈیو فوٹیج میں طالبان کے ایک پولیس اہلکار کے ہاتھ میں بھارتی ساختہ INSAS رائفل واضح طور پر نظر آنے کے بعد اس ہتھیار کی افغانستان تک رسائی پر سوالات اٹھ گئے ہیں۔
دفاعی امور کی ویب سائٹ Indian Defence Research Wing کے مطابق فوٹیج میں نظر آنے والی رائفل INSAS 1B1 ہے، جو بھارتی INSAS کا بہتر بنایا گیا ورژن ہے۔ اب اصل سوال یہ ہے کہ بھارتی ساختہ INSAS طالبان پولیس تک پہنچی کیسے؟ رپورٹ کے مطابق بھارت نے ماضی میں INSAS رائفلیں بعض غیر ملکی افواج کو فراہم کی ہیں، جبکہ افغانستان کے ساتھ بھی بھارت کے دفاعی اور تربیتی روابط رہے ہیں۔ تاہم دستیاب ریکارڈ میں افغان حکومت یا طالبان کو INSAS فراہم کیے جانے کا کوئی سرکاری ثبوت موجود نہیں۔
اب سوال یہ کہ طالبان کے پاس تو جدید ترین امریکی ملٹری گریڈ اسلحہ وافر مقدار میں موجود ہے۔ تو وہاں اس انڈین INSAS کی ایسی کیا خاص ڈیوٹی ہے کہ اسے بھی طالبان پولیس کی وردی کے ساتھ دوبارہ میدان میں اتار دیا گیا؟ وہ بھی ایسی رائفل جسے بھارتی فوج خود برسوں سے تبدیل کرنے میں لگی ہوئی ہے ۔۔ (شاید AK-203 سے تبدیل کیا جا رہا یے )۔۔
ایک تگڑی سورس کے مطابق طالبان کی قیادت تمام فورسز کو یکساں طور پر جدید امریکی اسلحہ فراہم نہیں کرتی۔ نچلے درجے کی گشت یا روایتی سیکیورٹی کے لیے جو بھی رائفل ورکنگ کنڈیشن میں ہو، وہ اہلکار کو تھما دی جاتی ہے۔ خاص کر مقامی پولیس یا عام ناکوں (Checkpoints) پر موجود اہلکاروں کو اکثر وہ ہتھیار دیے جاتے ہیں جو پرانے، مقامی طور پر دستیاب یا مکس لاٹ (Mixed Lot) کا حصہ ہوتے ہیں ۔
یہ سوال یہ آئی کہاں سے تو ممکن ہے ریپلیس کیا ہوا مال ہو یا کسی دوسرے ملک/ادارے کے inventory سے بلیک مارکیٹ میں پہنچ گی ہو ۔۔ ویسے ایک معصومانہ سا سوال یہ بھی بنتا ہے وڈیو کا مقصد یہ پیغام دینا تو نہیں ہے کہ "مودی … ہیبت بھائی بھائی”۔۔

An Indian Army ambulance carrying the body of Subedar Major Satyawan Singh collided with a stationary truck on the Purvanchal Expressway on Sunday, killing four people, including his son, brother, nephew and the ambulance driver.
The incident occurred around 8:00 AM near the 79.6-km mark in the Haliyapur area, close to the Ayodhya–Sultanpur border, while the body was being transported from Chandigarh to his native village in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh.
