He was reportedly involved in attacks on Pakistan Army positions and later fled to Afghanistan, where he received further training and participated in attacks along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

He was recently reportedly shifted from Afghanistan to Karachi and tasked with organizing a terrorist network in the city.
