January 24, 2024 | Netanyahu is delaying granting a mandate to the Israeli negotiating team and delaying the holding of the first Paris meeting. The Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman attacked him in a public tweet for the first time.

28 - 31 January 2024 | The first Paris meeting, and making progress therein. The Mossad chief was surprised, upon his return to Israel, by Netanyahu’s publication of 5 statements in which he emphasized the gaps, revealing secret information during the negotiations.

6 February 2024 | In the midst of contacts to reach a humanitarian truce before Ramadan, the Hamas movement announced that it had responded in a positive spirit to the mediators’ initiatives, but Netanyahu was quick to leak statements to Channel 13 under the name of a “senior Israeli political official” declaring that Hamas’ position meant rejecting the deal.

13 February 2024 | Cairo meeting.
