Hamas leader Dr. Basem Naim expressed the movement's and the Palestinian people's solidarity with the Spanish people after the devastating floods in the Valencia region.

Naim said in his message to the Spanish people: “Despite the pain and suffering we are going through in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing Zionist terrorist war of extermination in the Gaza Strip, we send all messages of solidarity and love to the friendly Spanish people, especially in the Valencia region, after the devastating floods that left hundreds dead and missing and massive destruction to homes and public property.”

The Hamas leader added: "We wish the brotherly people of Spain a speedy recovery and to overcome this humanitarian disaster, and a speedy recovery for the wounded, and our condolences to the families of the dead and missing."
