- Time to reach an agreement on the northern border is running out

• We will support any effective action on the northern front from outside the current government

• We are committed to removing Hezbollah threat from the Israeli population on the northern border.

There is an important piece of information that has been left out from such reports.

The envoy in question is Amos Hochstein, who served in the Israeli Defense Forces as a tank crewman prior to moving to Washington. He was a foreign policy adviser to Democratic Party members of the U.S. government House Foreign Affairs Committee from 1994 to January 2001. A lifelong lobbyist for energy companies and a recent appointee of Blinken.

Now, he's serving as a mediator for "peace". But what kind of mediation can be expected from an ex-IDF?
