Two months after I documented the moment the little girl, Maria Abdel Qader, was pulled from under the rubble of their house, where her grandfather, grandmother, two of her brothers, and other relatives were martyred, and Maria was removing the rubble with her hands to help the rescue teams pull her out
Today, I am extremely happy, as God has destined me to meet her while she is in good health
God willing, this war will end and Gaza will regain its health and return to pulsating with life and hope like this beautiful child

๐ธ The man with seven lives |
Sometimes, an idea can transform a man, and that man can alter the course of an entire nation. This fighter succeeded in defeating an entire state, army, and security forces, consisting of 500 Israeli soldiers.
Yes, this is not an exaggeration. Martyr Mahmoud Abu Hanoud, made his mark after escaping an abduction attempt in 2000, carried out by a massive Duvdevan forces. They had ambushed him with hundreds to ensure he wouldn't escape this time, as he had done before.
The man, hailing from the village of Asira al-Shamaliya in Nablus, not only managed to escape with just a minor shoulder injury but also killed three of those who attempted to abduct him and injured others, earning him the nickname "the man with seven lives" by the Israeli Shin Bet leadership.
But that's not all; fate had another epic scene in store for him, a miraculous survival from a major assassination attempt. Apache helicopters gathered over the Palestinian Authority's prison where he was held and bombarded it, believing that no one would survive the severe destruction inflicted on the building.
Yet, the man emerged from under the rubble of the prison like a phoenix, holding his Quran high, walking proudly through the streets of Nablus in a legendary scene that made Palestinians believe that such a man cannot die.
In a later interview with one of his brothers, he mentioned that "Abu Al-Hanoud" had also been seriously injured by a gunshot in 1988, a wound everyone believed he wouldn't survive. However, God willed for him to survive and become the leader of the Al-Qassam Brigades in the West Bank, leading several operations that struck the occupier.
Abu Al-Hanoud was martyred in a treacherous airstrike, as is often the occupation's only way, after leaving the Taraweeh prayer in 2001. He remained a symbol for the heroic Palestinian people, whose identity, history, and beliefs cannot be erased with the death of one of its leaders. He always shouted in the face of his oppressor:
'In vain, you attempt to extinguish the rebel; I am like resurrection, I shall come one day...'
