A Hamas leadership delegation meets with the Turkish Foreign Minister in Istanbul

A delegation from the leadership of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, headed by the Mujahid brother Muhammad Darwish, Chairman of the movement's Shura Council, met with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mr. Hakan Fidan, in Istanbul, where they discussed the latest developments in the Israeli aggression, especially the humanitarian situation in northern Gaza.

The meeting discussed developments in the Israeli aggression and the efforts made to support our Palestinian people, especially in the northern Gaza Strip, who are exposed to the most heinous Israeli attack, in addition to the latest developments in the negotiations aimed at reaching a ceasefire agreement that paves the way for the exchange of prisoners.

The movement's leadership delegation reviewed the current situation in the Strip, especially the current humanitarian crisis in the northern Gaza Strip due to the ongoing siege for about two weeks and the daily massacres in this area, in addition to what the occupation is doing in various Palestinian territories and in occupied Jerusalem and the conditions of prisoners in the occupation's prisons.

The delegation reviewed the results and repercussions of the national meetings that took place in Cairo between the delegations of the Fatah and Hamas movements at the kind invitation and sponsorship of Egypt.
For his part, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan offered his condolences during the meeting to the Palestinian people and Hamas movement on the martyrdom of the head of its political bureau, the martyr leader and mujahid Yahya Sinwar.

He pointed out that his country will use all its diplomatic capabilities to mobilize the international community towards the humanitarian catastrophe witnessed in Gaza, especially in the northern part of the Strip.

He expressed his appreciation for the meeting held a few days ago in Cairo under Egyptian sponsorship, stressing support for the steps of internal Palestinian consensus.

He stressed the need to continue negotiations to cease fire leading to a prisoner exchange deal between the two sides.

The Hamas delegation included members of the political bureau Dr. Khalil Al-Hayya, Dr. Musa Abu Marzouq, Zaher Jabarin, and Muhammad Nasr.
