🔽On the evening of October 8, 2022, the martyr Uday al-Tamimi calmly got out of the taxi at the Shuafat camp checkpoint, then pulled out his pistol and aimed his bullets from a very close range at the heads of Israeli soldiers.

The occupation forces admitted to killing a female soldier named "Noa Lazar" and seriously wounding another, before he was able to withdraw

The hero al-Tamimi disappeared between the alleys and lanes of Jerusalem that embraced him,

and the youth of Jerusalem presented a commendable act by shaving their hair and burning surveillance cameras to provide him with protection and cover for his movement.

The occupation mobilized its forces, intelligence and aircraft to reach the martyr Adi al-Tamimi, so it besieged the Shuafat camp, cut off the nearby cities, and set up checkpoints, but it failed to achieve its goal.

On October 19, 2022, the hero al-Tamimi was able to reach the settlement of “Ma’ale Adumim” east of Jerusalem to clash with its guards and be martyred.

Today, October 19, marks the second anniversary of his martyrdom. Uday wrote in his will:

“I know that I will be martyred sooner or later, and I know that I will not liberate Palestine through the operation, but I carried it out with a primary goal in mind, which is for the operation to inspire hundreds of young men to carry the rifle after me.”
