The Martyrdom of Sinwar
β’He was not using settlers as human shields, nor was he using Palestinians as human shields.
β’He was not sniped; he was shelled by artillery. Afterward, Israeli forces sent a drone to the bombarded building to confirm if the fighter they clashed with was still alive before entering and taking photos. When they arrived to his body they shot him in the head. (#videos )
Israeli soldiers generally do not engage directly with resistance fighters, relying on airstrikes and artillery even in the West Bank, and only typically confront women, children, and unarmed civilians.
β’Israeli soldiers often brag about dead Palestinians, especially resistance fighters, by taking photos of their bodies and sharing them with their friends and families.
β’The spread of Sinwarβs photos was a result of Israeli propaganda claiming Sinwar was hiding in tunnels surrounded by settler captives. Their soldiers believed it, leading to widespread confusion when the photos surfaced in Hebrew telegram channels. Once the photos reached Israeli army leadership, they ordered immediate censorship, but by then, it was too late.
β’ After the drone footage was already online the Israeli army published it officially.
β’The Israeli army acted this way because, had they known it was Sinwar and had no photos spread online, they would have run a week-long propaganda campaign, staging his body in a tunnel and dragging his corpse out to fit the narrative they had created online, in an attempt to avoid making him an eternal martyr and symbol.
β’The location where Sinwar was martyred was closer to Egypt than to Gaza City, and not far from where the Israeli army is stationed in the Philadelphi Corridor, which is another name for the Egyptian borders with Gaza. (#Photo 1)
β’Sinwar was not alone; he was with the commander of the Tel Sultan Battalion in Rafah, Mahmoud Hamdan, who also achieved martyrdom (#Photo 2).
This debunks another Israeli lie, as the Israeli army had announced on September 10, 2024, that they had air bombed and killed him.
β’ Right after the announcement of his martyrdom, Arabic social media were flooded with thousands of accounts from Saudi, Egyptian, and Moroccan users, including some known Saudi personalities, repeating Israeli propaganda and celebrating his death.

π±πΎThe Libyan Dar al-Ifta mourned the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar,
after his martyrdom in a confrontation with the Zionist occupation soldiers in central Gaza.
It said that Sinwar had joined his fellow mujahideen and had achieved what he had wished for after a long journey of jihad and struggle in order to liberate the nationβs sanctities, advancing and not retreating.

In 1985, there was an Israeli ban on building the Imam al-Shafiβi Mosque,
so the young men defied this decision. Brother Yahya al-Sinwar was one of these workers.
He was standing on the ladder to fix a piece of wood to the ceiling, and he needed someone to hand it to him.
He called me, as I was the closest to him. I tried to be squishy as a joke,
but he shouted at me asking for the piece of wood.
I climbed the ladder to give him the piece after provoking him. He said to me this phrase that I lived with and that has lived with me throughout (By God, you will never gain it).
Therefore, when I was arrested, the first thing I did was ask about Yahya al-Sinwar and send him a message reminding him of the incident that he does not remember,
and I said to him (I hope I have gained it). After his phrase, my life changed and became more serious.
Commander Hassan Salameh was very impressed by the personality and strength of Commander Yahya Sinwar.
