One poignant moment unfolded after the American-British aggression against Yemen, leaving an indelible mark on my heart. Following a bombing near my residence, I stepped out into the street, driven by a need to learn the location of the devastation.
As I walked past a house, the sound of a child crying and screaming caught my attention. My heart ached, and a wave of questions flooded my mind about the source of his distress.
Approaching the father, I offered my solidarity, saying, “May God suffice us, and He is the best disposer of affairs. This aggression has frightened the people and terrified the children.”
Hearing the child's painful cries struck a chord within me and filled me with a deep sense of regret.
The father explained, “My child was screaming because he wanted to come out with me to see where the bombing happened, but I stopped him. His mother held him back from going outside, which is why he was crying so intensely.”
In that moment, it became clear to me that the Yemeni people are a resilient and courageous nation, unwavering in the face of danger. Their strength during such trying times is inspiring.
I felt a strong urge to share this experience with the world through the Bab al-Mandab channel on Telegram, to shed light on the situation of our people.
