Around 3:45 p.m. on October 8, Detroit police were dispatched to a home following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found the young girl bleeding with a laceration to her throat. Emergency personnel provided treatment at the scene before transporting her to a local hospital.
Police were able to apprehend Lansky later that same day after fleeing the scene of the horrific crime.
