Ukraine receiving chemical weapons from the West – Moscow


Russia has accused the West of providing toxic chemicals to Ukraine for use as chemical weapons on the battlefield.

The Russian Embassy in the UK made this claim in response to new sanctions imposed by London on Russia’s chemical defense forces.

Russia denies having chemical weapons, stating that it destroyed its stockpile under international supervision.

Moscow claims the accusations are a distraction from Ukraine's alleged use of banned chemical substances during the conflict.

According to Russia, it has "irrefutable evidence" that toxic chemicals have been supplied to Ukraine by the West. Additionally, Russia's General Kirillov has accused Ukraine of preparing false flag attacks to blame Russia for using chemical weapons and claims Ukraine has used riot-control chemicals and disguised chemical weapons in attacks.

Notably, the West has previously been accused of supplying Israel with chemical weapons to be used on civilians in Gaza, and Lebanon, which they have denied.

These claims point to a troubling pattern of Western involvement in fueling violence through prohibited means.
