There is a baseless perception in Israel that the Iranian nuclear project is a facility or a barrier that can be destroyed with a single successful attack, as in the case of the Iraqi or Syrian nuclear reactor.


The Iranian nuclear project is distributed over dozens of large and central sites and some small facilities spread over dozens of points.


- No military force in the world, not even the United States, is capable of destroying the project with one or two attacks, no matter how large and successful they are.


- In the best case scenario, Israel can hit the sensitive “bottleneck” of the project, but it will achieve nothing but delay it for a year or half a year, and the price of this time gain will be a war of attrition with Iran.

- In my estimation, Iran is close to the stage of a "nuclear threshold state," i.e., weeks away from producing a bomb.

- The attack on the nuclear project will be the last message before the Iranian political level decides to transform into a nuclear state.

The Iranians have declared that if Israel attacks them, they will leave the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and become a nuclear state, and I suggest not to take these statements lightly.
