At 6:25 am on Saturday, October 7, 2023, a coordinated and simultaneous attack was carried out between all the specializations and weapons of the Al-Qassam Brigades by land, sea and air on more than 50 sites in the Gaza Division and the Southern Region of the occupation army.
The attack was carried out under an intensive missile cover that targeted military sites, settlements and the enemy's command and control systems.
The number of Al-Qassam rockets in the first strike amounted to 5,500 rockets and shells.

4,500 fighters from our forces participated in Operation "Al-Aqsa Flood", 3,000 of them for maneuver operations and 1,500 for support and backup operations.
In less than two hours, we succeeded in penetrating the disappearing wall and raiding all the enemy division's sites, numbering 15 military sites, in addition to attacking 10 military intervention points and the protection faction present in 22 settlements; we destroyed the enemy division and took control of the "Ra'im" military base, which was the pride of the occupation army.

We destroyed and targeted 1,592 military vehicles of the occupation during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle so far, including tanks, armored personnel carriers, and military bulldozers, in addition to targeting headquarters where soldiers were gathering and fortified.
