🔽🔴We mentioned in the past days that the first statement of Al-Qassam Brigades was on January 1, 1992, and was written by the first commander-in-chief, Yasser al-Namrouti.

Today our story revolves around how the statement and military parade of the battalions came before the announcement of the launch in 1992 and the assassination of the rabbi responsible for the security of the settlements, which was the spark of the launch.

The first military parade of the Qassam Brigades was on the anniversary of the launch of Hamas on December 14, 1991, at the request of Commander Emad Aql,

who asked Salah Othman to mobilize the largest possible number of members of the organization and head towards the mosques of Abu Khousa, Al-Awda, and Al-Khulafa.


The mujahideen came out and roamed the streets of Jabalia amidst the sounds of takbir and welcome from the residents and the sweets that the residents threw at the mujahideen.

The Mujahideen marched, the goal of the parade was achieved, and the incubator of bullets and resistance expanded in Gaza.

But what was not expected was the revelation of the matter of Majdi Hammad, the founder of the Martyrs Group, of which the leader Imad was also a member. Because of his build, the people recognized him at the parade and shouted, “This is Majdi.”

Two weeks after the military parade and the revelation of Majdi's Hamas decided to unify all its military groups in the Gaza Strip, which were later called the Al-Qassam Brigades.

Everyone agreed to choose Yasser Al-Namrouti to become its commander-in-chief.

On the morning of January 1, 1992, the two mujahideen Khamis Aql and Salem Abu Marouf met to carry out the operation to kill Rabbi Doron Shorchan, the security official for the settlements in the central region of the Gaza Strip

The Mujahideen got into their car and drove to the location of the rabbi, which was close to the Kfar Darom settlement in the middle of the Gaza Strip

The Mujahideen, Salem, got out and fired seven bullets into his head, killing him.

The first statement was issued by Al-Qassam Brigades, announcing its responsibility for the operation on 1/1/1992

Years after this operation, specifically in 2005,

the commander-in-chief of Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Khaled, said that this operation was the launching point for the military work of Al-Qassam Brigades, as the main focus,in the beginning, was on Spies who did not require weapons for this mission

which aroused the curiosity of the martyred commander Basem Issa, his companion, until he asked him Who is in the picture?

There is no way for me to allow this picture to fall from me and leave it anywhere,

Congratulations to you, Abu Musab, for this great reward, deep love, and great loyalty from your former cub and current commander, Emad.
