Leader Hussam Badran calls on the masses of the West Bank to respond widely and participate actively in the Friday of lifting the aggression on Palestine and Lebanon

Member of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Hussam Badran, called on the people of the West Bank to respond widely and participate actively today in the Friday of lifting the aggression on Palestine and Lebanon, in loyalty to the blood of the martyrs and the sacrifices of the wounded and prisoners, and in confirmation of the choice of resistance and steadfastness in the face of the occupation.

Badran stressed that the masses of the West Bank have a great duty and a great responsibility to escalate the confrontation and engagement, in light of what they are exposed to in terms of raids, arrests, abuse and continuous targeting; the latest of which was the massacre in Tulkarm camp yesterday evening.

Badran called on everyone who can reach the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque to rally and defend it and confront the Judaization plans and frantic attempts aimed at demolishing Al-Aqsa Mosque and establishing the alleged temple.

He pointed out the necessity of commemorating the first anniversary of the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa, with more unity and closing ranks between all arenas, escalating the state of anger in the face of the occupation, confusing its calculations and thwarting its aggressive plans against our Palestinian cause and our Arab region.

He pointed out that this Friday constitutes an opportunity to raise the voice at the global level, and reject the state of resignation and silence in light of what the occupation is doing in terms of a war of genocide, massacres and flagrant violations of all international charters and norms.

He stressed the necessity of participation in all fields in the West Bank and Jerusalem, and that all arenas of confrontation and points of contact and engagement be ignited, and all available means of resistance be used to confuse the occupation and deter its settler herds, who only understand the language of force.

Clarification for those who do not know Hussam Badran.

He was one of the leaders of Al- Qassam Brigades in the northern West Bank between 2000 and 2002.


He was arrested more than 5 times by the Israeli occupation forces. His first arrest was in 1990, and then his arrests continued until he spent about 14 years in the prisons of the Zionist occupation.

He was subjected to an assassination attempt during his last arrest in the Al-Nasaria area in the Jordan Valley in the West Bank on April 18, 2002. He was investigated for four months and sentenced to eighteen years in prison.

He was released from prison in 2011 in the Shalit deal and was deported outside Palestine
