Muhammad Nazzal, one of the leaders of the Hamas movement: A deal that does not end in a complete ceasefire is unacceptable
🔻Hamas |
Muhammad Nazzal: The crime of assassinating three Palestinian resistance fighters in the Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin is a terrorist act.
How could a large number of special forces infiltrate a hospital in the heart of the city of Jenin, and in areas of the Palestinian Authority, without any members of the Palestinian security services and police confronting them?

🔺DeclassifiedUK || The UK government confirms it will continue arms exports to Israel, a state accused by the World Court of plausibly conducting genocide.
While Israel continues to destroys so much of Gaza, with UK backing, that the UK government can't even assess how many British-funded aid projects - funded with public money - have been damaged.
UK Foreign Minister, Andrew Mitch, continuing his apologies for Israel said "the ICJ charge against Israel was 'hideous', ludicrously claimed" and that "Israel plans to act in accordance with international humanitarian law" and that the UK is a "close ally" of a country carrying out a genocide.

🔻 Hamas | Full Statement:
The Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, responding to the developments related to the Paris meeting and the ideas discussed therein to stop the aggression on Gaza and release the prisoners (1/2):
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The movement received the proposal discussed at the meeting and is in the process of studying it and will respond based on the priority of stopping the brutal aggression on Gaza and the complete withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Strip.
The movement is open to discussing any serious and practical initiatives or ideas that lead to a comprehensive cessation of aggression and ensure the sheltering of our people, who were forced to displace due to the occupation's actions and whose homes were destroyed, as well as ideas that facilitate reconstruction [of Gaza], lifting the siege, and a serious prisoner exchange process that ensures the freedom of our heroic prisoners and ends their suffering.
The Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas appreciated the role played by the brothers in both Egypt and Qatar in reaching a sustainable ceasefire agreement in Gaza on the way to ending the aggression faced by our people in Al-Quds, the West Bank, and our prisoners in the occupation's prisons.
The movement's leadership received an invitation to visit Cairo to discuss the framework agreement from the Paris meeting and the requirements for its implementation according to a comprehensive vision that achieves our fighting people's national interests in the foreseeable future.
Regarding what is happening in the Gaza Strip in terms of escalation and massacres, including the renewed brutal aggression in the north of the Strip, the head of the movement said: "The world must pressure the occupation to stop these massacres and war crimes, including the policy of abuse that our people in the West Bank areas are subjected to with executions, arrests, and daily raids of cities and camps," emphasizing that all these practices will not break the will and determination of our people for freedom and independence.
Statements by the occupation's leaders that their aggression and military crimes will break our resistance or force it to make concessions at the expense of our people's interests are mere illusions, shattered by the steadfastness of the resistance that continues its work in response to these massacres against our people, and dispelled by the pursuit of the occupation army and its machinery everywhere in the Strip.
In a related context, Haniyeh condemned the positions and decisions issued by the United States and some Western countries towards the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and the suspension of their contributions and financial obligations to UNRWA instead of increasing them.
Haniyeh affirmed that these decisions are in explicit violation of the recent International Court of Justice's decision, which called for increasing aid to Gaza instead of reducing it, and that these positions indicate the existence of a systematic policy in these countries to support the occupation through through starvation and siege of our people instead of responding to the historic decision of the court and the subsequent procedures for prosecuting the occupation for genocide, which we hope will include all those who support this occupation in its ongoing crimes.
Haniyeh said: "The justifications put forward by these countries to suspend their contributions are flimsy and not based on any evidence other than what the occupation provides of flimsy excuses and exposed propaganda aimed at pressuring the United Nations and punishing it for what it provided to the court of reports on the effects of the brutal aggression on our people and the statements of the UN Secretary-General Mr. Guterres, which the International Court of Justice relied on in its decision.
