The operation was an attempt to eliminate one of the most dangerous spies in the Gaza Strip, who was also a drug dealer

The operation took place on May 2, 1991, in western Beit Lahia, at exactly 7:00 a.m.

The perpetrators were the martyr Ghassan Abu Nada, Muhammad Abu Ataya, Muhammad Abu Ayesh, Bashir Hammad, Nahro Masoud, and another Mujahid

The signal came to the Mujahideen that this spy would leave his house at about 6:30/6:45 in the morning.

The plan was for the Mujahideen to take two cars. They would stop the first one in one of the narrow streets leading to Al-Bahr Street near the Dugit settlement and pretend to repair this car. The second car would be tasked with attacking this agent if he passed by.

The Mujahideen had no weapons other than knives.

The idea of ​​the Mujahid Bashir was for the Mujahideen to make wooden pistols and paint them black like a 9mm pistol.

The Mujahid Muhammad Abu Attaya received his knife and each Mujahid went to the planned place.

It was six o'clock in the morning and the spy arrived at the street and found it blocked by the car.

The most important part of the operation was waiting for the spy to get out of his car.

But the excessive audacity of the martyr Ghassan made him attack the spy while he was in his car.

The surprise was that the spy was carrying his weapon and was ready to start his car. He pressed the engine and drove quickly and pushed the Mujahideen's car away.

At the same time, Ghassan's body was hanging from the spy's car. The spy shot Ghassan in the head and Ghassan was martyred.

The days following Ghassan's martyrdom witnessed a violent reaction against the spies, as four of the most dangerous spies in the Gaza Strip were liquidated.
