🔻DC-UK || Pro-Palestine activists in Cyprus have condemned Britain for using their island as a launchpad to bomb Yemen.

In response to Rishi Sunak's second round of airstrikes on 22 Jan, United for Palestine (Cyprus) issued this statement:

"As United For Palestine, we are appalled by the UK's continued use of Cyprus as a launchpad for attacks against Yemen, one of the world's poorest and most starved countries.

"The British government's decision is part and parcel of its full support to Israel's genocidal attack on the Palestinian people and has nothing to do with protecting the 'freedom of the seas'.

"In addition, we condemn the government of the Republic of Cyprus for its evasive attitude towards the use of our island for the purposes of supporting a genocide.

"The Christodoulides government [of Cyprus] believes that pointing to the sovereign character of the bases absolves it of any responsibility.

"The 'sovereign base areas' which house the British bases used to resupply Israel and attack Yemen are anachronistic colonial remnants whose existence on our soil rests on shaky legal grounds.

"We demand these be dismantled as part of our vision for a fully decolonised, demilitarised, and non-aligned Cyprus, free of all foreign armies and communal militias."

In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance, the Islamic Resistance carried out a number of operations against the positions and deployment of the Israeli enemy army on the Lebanese-Palestinian border on Saturday 1/27/2024, according to the following:

🔻Eastern sector:

1- At 10:15, a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers south of the Al-Abad site was targeted with missile weapons, causing direct hits.
2- At 14:35, a secret command headquarters in the Zibdin barracks in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms was targeted with a Falaq 1 missile, achieving a direct hit.

🔻Western sector:

1- At 9:30, a deployment of Israeli enemy soldiers in the vicinity of the Jal al-Alam site was targeted with Burkan missiles, causing direct hits.
2- At 11:05, a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers in the vicinity of the Doviev Barracks was targeted with missile weapons and was directly hit.
3- At 11:50, the Khirbet Maar base was targeted with missile weapons and was hit directly.
4- At 14:45, spy equipment at the Ras Naqoura naval site was targeted with appropriate weapons and direct hits were achieved.
5- At 15:45, a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers in the vicinity of the Shomera Barracks was targeted with missile weapons, causing direct hits.

With God’s help and strength, our Mujahideen targeted the vehicles invading the town with high-explosive devices and can confirm we directly hit a zionist vehicle.
