Known as "Yakov" by the Palestinian villagers, he has terrorized the region as the so-called security coordinator of the Yitzhar settlement. But Filant’s reign goes far beyond his official title—he commands a militia, sets up checkpoints, and is known for violent attacks on Palestinians.

🔴 U.S. Blacklists Filant: Recently blacklisted by the U.S. Treasury for his "malign activities," Filant has been leading armed settlers in attacking Palestinians and expelling them from their lands. His militia is notorious for targeting Palestinian children, even firing teargas into schoolyards. Yet, the “Israeli” terrorist force turns a blind eye or actively assist him.

🔴 "I am the police, I am the army": Filant’s arrogance knows no bounds. When confronted by villagers, he declared, "I am the police, I am the army," cementing his absolute power over the region. This is a stark reminder that Palestinians in the West Bank live under the rule of violent settlers, with little recourse for justice.

🔴 Palestinian Lives in Constant Danger: Villagers in Burin and surrounding areas speak of constant fear. From settler attacks during olive harvests to nighttime raids, Filant and his men harass, beat, and expel Palestinians, unchecked by “Israeli” authorities. The IOF, instead of protecting Palestinians, aids the settlers in their violent campaigns.

⚠️ This is just one settler: As Ghassan Najjar, a local resident, warns: “Even if we stop this Yakov, there are a lot of other Yakovs in the settlements.”

The settler violence is widespread, and without international intervention, the suffering of Palestinians will only continue.

• Economic Impact: In 2021 alone, “Israeli” hospitals received $219 million from international research partnerships, but those collaborations are now drying up. Even “Israeli” doctors admit this could be a turning point.

“Israel’s” genocidal war on Gaza has killed 40,000 civilians, mostly women and children, with thousands more buried beneath rubble. The world is taking action, and the boycotts show no signs of stopping.
