The activist has been identified as Aysenur Ezgi, an American of Turkish descent, who left the safety of her home to fight alongside the oppressed Palestinian people before she was murdered in cold blood.

On the anniversary of the Freedom Tunnel operation, this was not the only attempt. Another one happened in 1991 when Yahya Sinwar and his comrades Tawfiq Abu Naim, Muhammad Sharatha, and Baha al-Madhoun planned to escape through a tunnel that took a week to complete. They cut the iron of the window and dug a hole in the wall, but the operation failed at the last moment.

"Al-Sinwar also had another attempt in Majdal prison, where he managed to dig a hole in the wall of his cell using a wire and a small iron saw. When only the outer shell of the wall remained, it collapsed and revealed his attempt, so he was punished by imprisonment in solitary confinement."

San Francisco State University (SFSU) is taking a stand by divesting $163 million from companies profiting from “Israel's” genocidal occupation in Palestine.

This powerful move comes after persistent protests led by Students for Gaza and other pro-Palestinian groups.

SFSU will pull investments from major corporations like Lockheed Martin, Palantir, and Leonardo, companies tied to “Israel’s” military and defense operations.

As one activist declared at the rally, “We were able to be the first university to divest from major weapons manufacturers... successfully ensuring our money is not funding GENOCIDE!”
