"I cannot get the smell of blood out of my head or the look of terror in the eyes of little children as they realize their limbs are missing.

Nothing anyone can say will truly do justice to how horrific the situation is in Gaza.

Outside the hospital there are little shoeless children some wearing pajamas, the same pajamas they wore when the bombs dropped on their homes as they slept.

There's no time to take their shoes let alone to try to find their family who are buried under the rubble.

Their little feet were blackened from the debris and the raw open sewage that flowed from the destroyed water systems. Their feet were scraped, swollen and badly infected..."

During the visit, Mohammed Al-Aridah revealed the brutal conditions he and his fellow Palestinian prisoners face. He was isolated for 15 days and has been continuously transferred between several prisons, a tactic used to disorient and punish prisoners. "The inspection policy is still ongoing, in addition to the psychological pressures and provocations practiced against us," Al-Aridah disclosed. "We suffer from a severe shortage of clothing. The food is very poor in terms of quantity and quality. I have lost about 20 kg of my weight, and all the prisoners have lost a lot of weight from their bodies, and their bodies have become thin and sick."
