🇮🇶 A source in the Iraqi Resistance Coordination committee (a joint meeting of the Iraqi resistance factions) told Al-Akhbar that a meeting was held three days ago to form a unified stance among all factions regarding current regional and internal events.

The source confirmed that most leaders agreed to end the truce with the United States and resume military operations against its bases directly. The source stated, "Some leaders discussed field operations against the occupier, and there was no objection to reigniting attacks against U.S. forces or the zionist entity."

He added that "the government's agreements with the Americans, the delay in announcing the results of negotiations, and even attempts to convince the factions of an imminent U.S. withdrawal did not reassure the resistance, which will not rest as long as there are foreign forces bombing the Popular Mobilization Forces and factions, as well as supporting 'israel' or, at the very least, providing it with information or protecting it from our strikes."

Regarding potential strikes, the source confirmed that "the Axis of Resistance in general, and in Iraq specifically, intends to carry out well-planned military operations to deliver severe blows against the occupation, especially since the enemy shows no desire to ceasefire in Gaza."

While the Iraqi government seeks to calm the factions and is making contacts to this end, Kataeb Hezbollah announced last week that it has no commitment to halt operations against the Americans.

Haidar Al-Lami, a member of the Nujaba Movement told Al-Akhbar: "The purpose of granting the truce period to the government was to allow time for negotiations on the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the country, but it has become clear that the occupier is determined to stay."

"After consulting with the resistance leaders, it was concluded that the Iraqi-U.S. talks are merely stalling tactics and deception, and the resistance has shown a great deal of patience, waiting to see the results of diplomatic efforts, but unfortunately, there are no fruits from this patience."

Regarding the post-truce period, he stated: "The option of targeting military bases is now available. The armed Iraqi factions are ready and have a list of targets expected to be hit at any moment, as long as there is legitimacy for it."
