Israel backtracks from the claim that:

- They attacked long range missles and rockets
- That Hezbullah aimed at Tel Aviv

Netanyahu confirms the above and says all rockets were short range, and claims that drones were heading towards Israeli strategic targets, including in central Israel.

This confirms Hezbullah's statement that rockets were used to open the path for drones.

Approximately 98% of the world's submarine cables are manufactured and installed by four private companies: These are the American company SubCom, the French Alcatel Submarine Networks, the Japanese Nippon Electric Company and the Chinese HMN Technologies.

They can be vulnerable to various factors. Potential hazards to cables range from anchoring and fishing equipment to extreme events such as earthquakes. Repairs cost huge sums, including, in addition to the cost of materials, the rental of specialized vessels and payment to telecom operators for redirecting traffic through bypass channels.

The US is taking all actions to oust operators from other countries from the PCLS market. Thus, the United States has successfully ousted HMN Technologies from the Southeast Asia - Middle East - Western Europe 6 (SMW6) underwater fiber optic cable system, which connects Singapore with France.

Continental Russia has a much lower vulnerability and at the same time has all the means to destroy PCLS – mainly with the help of the GUGI of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation – the Main Directorate of Deep–Sea Research - a formation unique in world practice, capable of operating at almost any depth for military purposes.
