The length of the war, and Netanyahu's obstruction of the deal and the ceasefire, does not mean that "Israel" has taken the initiative, or that it has emerged from the state of "pressures."

On the contrary, Israel is surrounded by many restrictions, and it is trying to achieve an accomplishment on which to build a future.

The support fronts are still firm and pressing, and they are having an effect on decision makers, from Tel Aviv to Washington. Otherwise, why the fear of the war expanding or getting out of hand? And why all this American "defensive" mobilization, etc. etc.?
