🔻A leading source in Al-Qassam reveals to Al Jazeera the details of the bombing operation east of Al-Maghazi, in which more than 20 Israeli officers and soldiers were killed.

Our Mujahideen have been stationed for weeks in the operation area east of Al-Maghazi, despite the intense and continuous bombardment. The instructions were not to deal with the forces penetrating the Al-Maghazi camp, waiting for a valuable target.

The enemy intensified his fire in the area and combed it until he thought it was safe, so he brought in the engineering forces.

The Mujahideen spotted the enemy force advancing they were identified as an engineering force, through their identity and equipment, the Mujahideen preferred not to deal with another foot force that was standing over a minefield prepared by Al-Qassam in advance.

The shell served as an explosive trigger that caused an explosion that destroyed the building and killed the force members

After the rescue forces arrived at the place and passed over the minefield, it was detonated, and then the Mujahideen withdrew safely

The enemy bombed the perimeter of the operation and isolated it, and brought in heavy machinery that worked for about 12 hours to recover the killed soldiers
