Martyr Ibrahim Alaa Ezzat Nabulsi

Ibrahim, who was born in the house of Colonel Alaa Izzat Nabulsi, an intelligence officer of the Palestinian Authority, in the city of Nablus in the West Bank, was a very kind and pious boy.

The spirit of resistance and Jihad against the Israeli army was filled inside him.
Together with his friend and mentor Martyr Adham Mabrooka alias Shishani and Muhammad Dakhil, Ibrahim Nabulsi started resistance operations against the Israeli army at the age of 13.

14-year-old Ibrahim Nabulsi first appeared on Israel's wanted list after he detonated an improvised explosive device at an Israeli checkpoint in the northern Nablus area one day when he was coming back from school.

The Israelis started searching for him but the Palestinian Authority took Ibrahim into protective custody at the request of Ibrahim's father, Colonel Alaa Izzat, so that the Israeli army could not arrest him.
After spending six months in the prisons of the Authority, when Ibrahim came out, he was a more vengeful and passionate fighter than ever.

Despite warnings from his father, Ibrahim ran away from home and settled in the old city of Nablus where his companions Shahid Adham Mubaruka and Muhammad Dakhil were also with him.
The clock tower in old city of Nablus became their home.

In 2021, when armed resistance was renewed in the West Bank, 17-year-old Ibrahim and his comrades worked tirelessly in the city of Nablus to form a coalition of local mujahideen and resistance fighters.

In all of this, Ibrahim and his accomplices became the most wanted persons to the Israeli army in the West Bank.

In February 2022, Israeli secret forces carried out a cowardly attack,while hiding inside a civilian taxy and martyred three of Ibrahim Nabulsi's companions and senior Mujahideen leaders in Nablus, Adham Mubaruka, Muhammad Dakhil and Ashraf Al-Mubasalt, while they were traveling in a vehicle.

The main target of this attack was Ibrahim Nabulsi who happened to be not with his companions at that time

Ibrahim Nabulsi, full of grief and revenge because of the martyrdom of his friends, formed new ranks of armed Mujahideen in the city of Nablus and in April 2022, together with his martyred friends Muhammad Abu Saleh Al-Azizi and Abd al-Rahman Sobh, at the age of only 18 years , Ibrahim and his friends fromed a strong alliance of Mujahideen which was named "The Lion's Den" (عرین الأسود)

Leading Lion's Den brigades, Ibrahim and his colleagues launched the most intense operations against the Israeli army which included armed confrontations with Israeli army and shooting attacks against Zionist occupation settlements.

The most significant operation incident happened on June 30, 2022, in East Nablus,when Israeli army was raiding Eastern Nablus city along with dozens of Zionist settlers to secure the tomb of prophet Joseph for settler prayers.

This was when Lion's Den brigades in the leadership of Ibrahim Nablusi started fierce armed clashes with the Israeli army , the commander of the Israeli Northern Corps Col Roy Zweig was severely wounded by direct hits by Ibrahim Nablusi and many other Zionist settlers and soldiers were killed and injured at the spot amidst clashes..

After this big blow, the Zionists, licking their wounds, once again planned to arrest or martyr Ibrahim Nabulsi.

On 26th July 2022, the Israeli army suddenly raided the ancient city of Nablus and besieged the house where the martyr Ibrahim Nabulsi and his companions, the leaders and founders of The Lion's Den, Abd al-Rahman Sobh and Saleh al-Azizi, etc., had gathered.
Ibrahim broke the siege and was able to retreat but his companions Azizi Saleh and Subh were martyred,the Israeli army faced heavy losses throughout the cowardly raid.

After this incident and several failed assassination attempts, Ibrahim Nabulsi knew that he did not have much time left and he was mentally prepared for martyrdom.

On August 3rd, 2022, Ibrahim Nabulsi Shaheed joined the Quds Brigades associated with Islamic Jihad and founded the Quds Brigades, Nablus Battalion in Nablus city.
Just six days later, on August 9, a large number of Israeli forces besieged the city of Nablus with more than 200 armored vehicles, 1,200 Israeli soldiers, and countless drones along with many serveilance aeroplanes

Despite the severe siege, Ibrahim Nabulsi stood firm and refused to surrender
After several hours of intense clashes and inflicting heavy loses upon Zionist coward pamper army, Ibrahim along with his colleague Islam Subh was surrounded in a house in the old City of Nablus. In the midst of the siege, Ibrahim delivered his famous last message to the public through a voice note.
"Protect my homeland after me and never leave the path of gun (the path of Jihad)"

The Israeli army fired several anti fortification missiles at the besieged house, injuring Ibrahim severely , Ibrahim fought untill his last bullet, and the Israeli soldiers were very fearful in entering the fully destroyed house they eventually entered the house and martyred Ibrahim.

The Israeli army wanted to abduct the body of Ibrahim, but in his last moments, Ibrahim Nabulsi killed and wounded many Zionist soldiers, so the distraught Israeli army immediately fled Nablus city with their bodies and wounded.

When it was time for the funeral, thousands of Palestinians gathered at Rafidia Street in Nablus
Despite the extreme heat, Palestinians from other cities arrived to attend Ibrahim's funeral
Ibrahim's martyrdom had such a profound effect on the youth that tens of Palestinian youths took the path of armed resistance against the Israeli army after being inspired by Nablusi

Martyr Ibrahim, also known as Assad Nablus(Lion of Nablus), was a metaphor for resistance throughout the West Bank
Ibrahim was declared as one of the most influential personalities of the year 2022.
Today, Ibrahim has appeared in the presence of Allah, but the spark of jihad he ignited has turned into a big bonfire that burns the Israeli occupiers with its fierceness.

A combat officer from the Nahal Patrol was seriously injured today (Thursday), in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

The fighter was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and his family was informed.
