The US is actively pushing towards a ceasefire to avoid a major war in the Middle East, which Iran also prefers over a direct escalation. But the last 10 months have made it clear that the US officials have no will nor ability to impose anything on the Zionist occupiers.

The US economy is the most fragile it has ever been for decades, with the debt reaching an all-time high and a seemingly uncontrollable inflation. The decision to tie the dollar to oil had come back to bite the Americans in the... haunt them, as the richest region in oil is about to go in flames.

The Americans now have a choice: force Israel to do what is in the interest of the US, or let them continue to do whatever they want and cause the immediate downfall of the oil-tied dollar. If the former option was possible, the Americans would have chosen it already.

The recent drop in global stock markets is a clear sign that investors are expecting a highly volatile future and are moving their funds to more stable portfolios away from AI-related gambles. If their forecast is certain, due to capital infesting the Western decision making, then a regional war seems unavoidable.
