Who is Commander Yahya Sinwar?
Yahya Ibrahim Hassan Al-Sinwar from the occupied city of Al-Majdal, northeast of the Gaza Strip.
He contributed to establishing the Majd Security Service, commissioned by Sheikh Ahmed Yassin in 1986.
He was arrested in 1988 and was sentenced to life imprisonment

He was transferred between several prisons, including Al-Majdal, Hadarim, Al-Sabaa, and Nafha.
He was elected a member of the Hamas Political Bureau in 2012
