In recent developments, Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, met with Haji Fazl Mohammad Saber, accepting him as the chargé d’affaires of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan at the Turkmen embassy.

During this meeting, Meredov stated: “We will strengthen cooperation between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan. We hope to implement major projects such as the TAPI gas pipeline, TAP power transmission, and the railway project between Torghundi and Herat.”
