On the 23 of July 2024, Al-Qassam mujahideen in Jenin managed to trap a Zionist force in a complex triple ambush near the separation fence adjacent to the village of Al-Mutla.

They detonated an IED on the fence to lure the occupation forces, ambushed the advancing repair force with a second IED, two soldiers becoming casualties, and then detonated a third IED on the rescue teams, resulting in an officer becoming a casualty in the occupation army.
