🔴 US Vice President Kamala Harris has raised a record amount of $81 million from Democratic Party donors in the 24 hours since President Joe Biden stepped down from the White House race and offered his endorsement, her campaign said.

The campaign claimed the haul was the largest one-day sum raised in presidential history — and that, among the 888,000 grassroots donors, some 60 percent were making their first contribution of the year.
