The Council of the European Union has sanctioned five Israeli individuals and three entities for "serious and systematic human rights abuses" against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and eastern occupied al-Quds.

The listed individuals and entities are also responsible for the "abuse of the right of everyone to enjoy the highest attainable standard of physical and mental integrity, the right to property, the right to private and family life, to freedom of religion or belief and the right to education," as per the statement of the Council o the European Union.

The EU sanctions, under the EU Global Human Rights Sanctions Regime, include an asset freeze and travel ban to EU countries.
