We condemn in the strongest terms the horrific Mawasi massacre in Khan Yunis, which constitutes a dangerous escalation in the series of unprecedented crimes and massacres in the history of war, which are being committed in the Gaza Strip by neo-Nazis.

This heinous massacre committed by the Zionist occupation army targeted the Al-Mawasi area west of the city of Khan Yunis, an area that the occupation army classified as “safe areas” and called on citizens to move there. The occupation aircraft, artillery and drones intensively and successively targeted the tents of the displaced with various types of weapons, killing hundreds. The martyrs and wounded are innocent and defenseless civilians.

The occupation's allegations about targeting leaders are false allegations. This is not the first time that the occupation has claimed to target Palestinian leaders, and their lies were later proven to be false. These false allegations are merely to cover up the scale of the horrific massacre.
