Our crews in the Gaza Strip are still carrying out their humanitarian duty in rescue operations and searching for missing persons from under the rubble of homes destroyed by the “Israeli” occupation, in light of the continuation of the “Israeli” war against civilian citizens, entering the 279th day, and the continuing killing operations, targeting populated homes, and destroying infrastructure. And the destruction of all aspects of life, in front of the whole world.

It is no secret to anyone the extent of the suffering that the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip is suffering from the lack of equipment and capabilities, the lack of fuel and the exhaustion of human staff, as well as the inability of our crews to deal with simultaneous targets at the same time, the inability to respond to citizens’ distress calls and the difficulty of searching for missing citizens under The rubble prevented access to those trapped in their homes, including the wounded and injured, which led to the martyrdom of many of them.

The “Israeli” occupation continued its invasion of the Shuja’iya neighborhood for the second time for twelve days, during which it destroyed most of the buildings and houses that it had not destroyed in its first invasion, so that more than 85% of them became uninhabitable, in addition to the complete destruction of the infrastructure, and thus the Shuja’iya neighborhood became A disaster area that is lifeless.

The “Israeli” occupation, in all its incursions into areas of the Gaza Strip, prevented civil defense crews from entering them, and also in the Shujaiya neighborhood, prevented our crews from answering the calls for help of those trapped in their homes.

Immediately after the withdrawal of the Israeli forces from the Shuja'iya neighborhood, our crews were able, in cooperation with the people of the neighborhood, to recover about 60 martyrs so far.

According to the testimonies of some citizens who were allowed by the “Israeli” occupation forces to leave their homes during their invasion of the Shuja’iya neighborhood, they reported that the “Israeli” army, after giving them safety, fired its tank shells directly at them after several meters, which led to the killing of two women, the injury of two children, and the survival of two other women. They were able to escape and escape death.

The occupation was not satisfied with that, as it completely destroyed the Sobha Medical Clinic, which provided services to more than 60,000 citizens in the neighborhood, and provided first aid services during this war for the wounded and sick, but unfortunately now it has been completely destroyed and is not fit for work.

For the fifth day in a row, the “Israeli” occupation forces are sweeping many areas in Tal Al-Haw, especially the industrial area, where there are killings, vandalism, and targeting of homes above the residents’ heads, and the killing of innocent children and women who tried to escape from their homes as a result of the intense bombing, but unfortunately snipers, artillery, and planes were waiting for them. Preliminary estimates up to this moment are that more than 50 martyrs, most of them women, were killed in this area. The Israeli ground operation is still continuing until this moment, and there are “many appeals that have reached us, but we have not been able to reach them due to the lack of coordination, and there is no immunity or protection for our crews.” From entering the areas classified as red, and therefore we inform the world that the lives of thousands of citizens are threatened with death as a result of the presence of the occupation forces in these civilian areas.

In view of this, we affirm the following:

First: We declare that the Shujaiya area has become an uninhabitable area and lacks all necessities of life.

Second: After the destruction of more than 85% of the buildings and residential homes in the Shujaiya neighborhood, more than 120,000 citizens have become homeless, and they are now out in the open.
