The “Israeli” occupation has prevented the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip for 64 days, which threatens to increase the number of deaths due to hunger, especially among children.

The “Israeli” occupation army continues to commit the crime of preventing the entry of aid and food into the Gaza Strip and completely closing the crossings for 64 days continuously, in the context of deepening the famine and continuing the crime of genocide that it is committing against civilians, children and women for the tenth month in a row.

The occupation is working to escalate the policy of starvation in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, and deeply in the governorates of Gaza and the North, through the occupation’s closure of humanitarian aid crossings and its targeting of food stores and production facilities, in clear violation of all international conventions that stipulate the right to food as a basic human right.

The “Israeli” occupation deepening the famine in the Gaza Strip violates the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which stipulates the right to obtain food as a basic human right, and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, which stipulates the right to be free from hunger, in addition to the reality in the Gaza Strip. It confirms that the "Israeli" occupation did not take the necessary measures to provide food and mitigate the impact of hunger in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, and that all international laws prohibit starvation of civilians as a means of war or fighting during international armed and non-international conflicts, and this prohibition is violated by the occupation against civilians in The Gaza Strip exposes them to hunger by depriving them of food sources and supplies.

We condemn in the strongest terms the decision of the “Israeli” occupation and the American agreement to prevent the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip as a weapon of war against civilians and as a tool for political pressure, as these policies have deepened the humanitarian crisis suffered by 2.4 million Palestinian civilians, and have also led to a tightening of the noose on The people of the Gaza Strip are deprived of their basic rights.

We hold the "Israeli" occupation and the American administration fully responsible for the continuation of the crime of starvation against our Palestinian people, whether a genocidal war or preventing the entry of aid.

We call on the international community, the United Nations, various international organizations, and all countries of the free world to put pressure on the “Israeli” occupation and the American administration to stop the genocidal war, open the crossings, and bring in aid immediately and urgently. We also call for intensifying international efforts to lift the siege on the Gaza Strip.
