Sources to Al Mayadeen reported that the Chinese ambassador in Doha informed the Hamas leadership yesterday that President Mahmoud Abbas has agreed to resume the Palestinian national dialogue in Beijing.

Hamas has accepted China's invitation for another round of Palestinian talks, according to the sources.

The Fatah movement expressed a desire for another meeting with the Hamas delegation before the expanded talks, as Hamas said it prefers to build on the outcomes of the previous meeting.

Al Mayadeen's sources also noted that there is no set date for the national dialogue in Beijing yet, but 14 Palestinian factions are expected to participate.
