Press Statement

In response to the statements of the Saudi Foreign Minister

The Popular Front rejects the deployment of any international forces in Gaza and affirms that the Palestinian people are the ones who will decide the future of the Strip or the form of government in it.

In response to the statements of Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan, in which he expressed his support for the deployment of an international force in the Gaza Strip by a UN resolution to support what he called the Palestinian Authority, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine confirms its categorical rejection of these statements.

The Front stresses that the Palestinian people are the only body authorized to determine the future and form of the ruling authority in the Gaza Strip, and considers any attempt to deploy international forces in Gaza, whether with or without a UN resolution, as an attempt to impose new guardianship or occupation of the Strip, which is something that the Palestinian people will not accept in any way. Conditions.

The Front believes that Arab and international efforts must focus on the fundamental issues that concern the Palestinian people, which are stopping the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip, the return of the displaced, reconstruction, and breaking the unjust siege imposed on the Gaza Strip for years.

The Front affirms that our Palestinian people and their resistance will strongly confront any international arrangements or plans taking place behind the backs of the Palestinian people, without their actual and effective participation, or any attempts to replace the occupation with international forces.
