🔻The battle that changed the scenario of occupied West Bank forever.
🔻The battle that revealed the resilience , bravery and steadfastness of the Great Heroes of Palestine.
🔻The battle that resulted in the defeat of so called undefeatable, number one most powerful army in the
World (IOF) by the hands of a few hundred of the resistance fighters of the Jenin battalion, equipped with only light weaponry and homemade explosives.


Context:

In early 2023
With the increase of Palestinian resistance activities across the Israeli occupied West Bank and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories plus a great advance in the capabilities and operations of the West Bank Palestinian resistance and the high casualties inflicted by them onto the Israeli army and settlers, forced the Israeli occupying army of taking serious action against the West Bank resistance


In the early 2023, Israeli army raided Jenin city and massacred 11 Palestinians and left behind dozens injured

Similarly the Israeli army raided Nablus city and massacred 13 Palestinians.

But these attacks proved to be unsuccessful in the elimination of the resistance instead this caused more and greater resistance operations against the settlers and IOF

The increasing pressure from settlers forced the Israeli army to besiege West Bank cities but that didn't help

In the coming 2 3 months,the Israeli army had to deal with more fierce Palestinian resistance resulting in many casualties

The incident that added fuel to this situation was yet to happen

On 19/6/2023

The cowardly Israeli army who used to raid West Bank cities in the night time for as little time as possible was trapped in Jenin for 10 hours straight with several units!!

Besieged and hunted like ducks down by the Palestinian resistance.

Several APCs and jeeps were destroyed

All this happened in broad daylight which revealed the cowardice of Israeli army to the settlers through the social media and television .

Dozens of Israeli soldiers were killed and injured and the situation became so much worse that the Israeli army had to beg for a 10 minutes ceasefire from the Jenin battalion which was declined!!
And this was for the first time in 17 years that the defeated Israeli army had to call for air support against a few dozen resistance fighters armed with light weaponry
An Israeli Apache attack helicopter which came to give air support to the besieged Israeli commando units was also damaged by the Jenin battalion and had to make an emergency landing.

After 10 hours of fierce clashes and fighting ,the defeated Israeli army was forced to flee from Jenin with their corpses and injured!

This defeat caused the eruption of Anger and fear in the Israeli settlers living in the West Bank

They continuously provoked the Israeli army for a large scale operation against Jenin and its resistance i.e The Jenin Battalion or else Jenin will become a no go area for the army in future

The settler provocations against Jenin and the Jenin battalion was also because the Jenin battalion , Al Ayyash unit started the experimental launches of homemade Rockets from Jenin into Israeli occupied settlements near Jenin !!

The Israeli settlement "Shaked,Ram On and Jalboo" were targeted several times by rockets!

Although the rockets did not damage anything but they poured fear in the settlers' hearts!

So the Israeli army started preparing in the late June of 2023 for a large scale operation against Jenin battalion
The Jenin battalion was also not sitting idly they were also preparing for a big upcoming confrontation with the most cowardly army in the world
