🔴Militants from the Al-Qaeda-affiliated group Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin attacked Mansila, killing about 100 Burkina Faso servicemen.

🔴In response, the Burkina Faso Armed Forces launched a counterattack using helicopters and drones, successfully striking retreating militants.

🔴Additionally, the military conducted a successful raid near Ouahigouya and destroyed radical gangs on the Mali border.
