An investigation by "Jeune Afrique" has revealed unpublished details about the relationship between Jordan Bardella, the leader of the French far-right party National Rally, and Morocco, where his paternal grandfather, Guerrino Bardella, resides and works as a carpenter.

According to the investigation, while Bardella proudly acknowledges his Italian roots, he has kept his connections to Morocco a secret. Jeune Afrique disclosed that Bardella's great-grandfather, named Mohamed Sghir Medda, was Algerian who immigrated to France in the 1930s.

Meanwhile, Bardella's paternal grandfather, Guerrino Bardella, lives in Morocco and works as a carpenter.

Guerrino Bardella was born in 1944 in Aveto, Lazio, Italy, and moved to France in 1960 in search of a better future. In 1963, he married Rejane Medda, the daughter of Mohamed Sghir Medda, and they had a son, Olivier Bardella, in 1968.

After his divorce from Rejane, Guerrino settled in Morocco and married his second wife, a Moroccan named Hakima.

According to the Jeune Afrique investigation, Guerrino Bardella converted to ISLAM.

The investigation mentioned that Bardella's grandfather, who resides in Casablanca in the Bourgogne district, is 80 years old. His last residency permit in Morocco, granted for "family reunification," was issued in 2016 for a period of 10 years.

Guerrino Bardella works as a carpenter and is registered in Morocco as an Italian citizen. He is also a familiar figure at an Italian restaurant in Casablanca called "Chez Massimo."

So, his great-grandfather was a Muslim named Mohamed.

His grandfather is still alive and converted to Islam.

And he is an immigrant from Italy!
