🔻Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised to punish ministers who skip government meetings. He announced this on June 30 at the Sunday cabinet meeting, which was again ignored by many of those whose attendance is mandatory.

Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the government secretary, Yossi Fuchs, to immediately develop administrative measures to penalize ministers who skip meetings. Among the proposed measures is the removal of the right to travel abroad in an official capacity for those who miss more than one meeting per quarter without a valid reason.
