Whether the UK recognises the state of Palestine or not, Palestine will be free. Recognition is more about Britain’s historic responsibility and its own future role in the global order. As it stands, British recognition of an inalienable Palestinian right is already 107 years late. We call on the UK government, this one or the next one, to recognise the State of Palestine immediately.
