🌟Anwar El-Ghazi, a Dutch footballer who is ethnically Moroccan, publishes a powerful video on his social media accounts, captioned:

"Stand in the right place even if it means standing alone," expressing his unwavering support for Palestine

El Ghazi's contract was terminated by the German football club Mainz, over social media posts that showed support to Gaza, back in November.

In a statement, Mainz said that El Ghazi’s deal had been ended due to “comments and posts from the player on social media” without offering further information.

The club has suspended him initially, however El Gazi posted another statement which led to his termination. In the statement he condemned the murder of children and called for an end to the war

Prior to El Ghazi’s termination, German prosecutors accused him of “disturbing public peace by condoning criminal acts in conjunction with incitement to hatred” through his social media posts
