The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine affirms that despite the importance of the UN investigation committee's report on the Palestinian territories, which includes evidence of the occupation's war crimes in Gaza and its responsibility for numerous violations of international humanitarian law and human rights law, the report is ultimately biased and unjust, favoring the occupation.

Some of the report's content aligns with the occupation's lies, equates the victim with the perpetrator, and follows claims of resistance violations on October 7, which have been proven false by international newspapers, UN organizations, and even voices from within the entity.

The committee based its report and positions on the events of October 7, even though the essence of the crisis did not begin on this date but has persisted for 76 years. The report also overlooked the root causes of the conflict, ignored the legitimacy of our people's resistance to the occupation in various forms, and failed to recognize that the October 7 operation was a natural part of our people's legitimate resistance against the occupation.

The Popular Front believes this report did not add significant value compared to previous UN reports on the matter, particularly those issued by the International Court of Justice. Instead, it represents a regression on some issues, clearly appeasing the occupation.

The importance of any UN decisions regarding the ongoing zionist genocide war against our people lies in their ability to translate confirmed condemnations of the occupation into executive decisions capable of stopping the aggression and accurately depicting the reality in the occupied Palestinian lands without bias or appeasement of the occupation, and without succumbing to American pressures to dilute any UN decision aimed at allowing the enemy to evade punishment.
