In a despicable turn of events, a Paris court today overturned the French government's rightful decision to ban Israeli companies from Eurosatory, one of the western worlds largest arms shows.

Despite the original ban being a response to Israel's war in Gaza, the Paris Commercial Court, under President Patrick Klugman, ruled the exclusion as discriminatory.

This ruling follows a diplomatic spat and a complaint filed by Julien Roitman, the Tel Aviv-based France-Israel Chamber of Commerce.

Although the arms show ends Friday, and the participation of Israeli companies remains uncertain, this decision undermines international law principles and justice.

Additionally, a previous court ruling demanded the exclusion of Israeli officials and intermediaries, which Coges and the French armed forces ministry are appealing.

In a related protest, Jerusalem's Deputy Mayor Fleur Hassan-Nahoum halted garbage collection from the French consulate.

The French armed forces ministry and Coges have yet to comment on this disheartening decision.
